Dem Catskill Congressman Will Leave
Politico tweeted that Maurice Hinchey, Democratic Congressman representing a Catskills (Borscht Belt) area, will step down. The NY-22 district is rural but voted democartic in last 3 presidential cycles. Still, republicans have a shot to capture it back.
Hinchey had second round of cancer surgeries last week, and was suppose to be today in DC for the first vote of the year.
