Greenfield Endorsement Tonight? All But Certain!

UPDATE: Greenfield just tweeted:
Councilman David G. Greenfield’s Communication Director sent out a press release about joint announcement with Councilman Lew Fidler (D-Brooklyn) and community leaders at Congregation Yeshuos Chaim in Midwood to make an announcement at 6 p.m. The announcement will clearly be campaign related, and almost certainly an endorsement. It was sent from a different email address than Greenfield’s almost daily – if not several a day – releases; the phone number is changed; Connor Greene doesn’t sign as Communication Director; and it was sent before the working hours, taking all precautions not to mingle official and campaign related business.
Proud to endorse with dozens of Jewish community's most influential leaders. Lew has stood up for us when it mattered most!

Contrary to what tweeted here, I only spot to Williamsburg liaisons
Lew Fidler put out his neck for Greenfield in his special election for his council seat, going a far as accusing the other side of withholding Passover packages for organizations that are supportive of Greenfield.
Councilman Greenfield was clearly supportive of Fidler, and the YW site where he regularly contributed to – in a piece that was almost clearly directed by him - put him in the Fidler column. It was interesting that Greenfield withheld his endorsement until now, and more eyebrows raising was the fact that an Hamodia Fidler advertisement  featuring photos of Dov Hikind – who is presumably still wavering whom to endorse – and Greenfield, only contained a quote from Hikind.

Was Greenfield cautious, or did he want to hold the endorsement to the end, when it has more impact?
Talking of endorsements, David Storobin received an endorsement of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani. You can see his mailer of the Giuliani endorsement here.
