Updating from the top:
The results are not only disputed by the campaigns, but also by the Press. While Politicker's Colin have Fidler up by 3, Daily Politics’ Celeste has it as a tie.
Politicker's Colin reports that count is complete and Fidler is ahead by 3. Now it moves on to the courts, to decide the fate of the disputed ballots.
Hikind says he voted for Storobin, and asks Board of Elections to publicize his vote. He explains his vote, that he followed the Rabbis, and his Rebbe Rabbi Belsky. Colin Campbell is pretty sure that BoE will not release it.
The fact that he's finally ready to publicize his choice, tells me that Dov knows something we don't know yet...
(4:35) And now Fidler is ahead by 1, according to Celeste.
BREAKING 3:38: And now Storobin is up by 2, according to Celeste Katz.
One of Fidler's absentees seems to be from Dov Hikind, City&State figured out. 2 people voted absentee in Hikind's ED, and they split their vote between the candidates. The other guy says he votes Storobin, so it leaves Hikind for Fidler. At least privately he sticks to his word...
And now Fidler is ahead by 1, according to Celeste. In the last hour it took them about 2 minutes to count one vote. Imagine if they will have to do a hand recount - this kicks in when the difference is under 0.5 percent, which looks very likely. It will take them a month, if they count 24 hours. The district will probably be erased by the time they will finish counting.
Storobin's camp protested today outside Fidler's office for targeting russian voters.

Celeste Katz has more on the recanvass and challenges: As of now 484 paper ballots were counted, with 289 for Fidler and 180 for Storobin. This leaves Storobin up by 10. The current tally at 10,856 for Storobin and 10,846 for Fidler.
According to the Fidler Campaign Manager Kalman Yeger , Storobin’s lawyers challenged today 61 ballots - generally directed at votes cast by senior citizens with Jewish sounding last names - while the Fidler campaign has challenged only 31. That's a strong change from yesterday, when Fidler held a perhaps much larger lead in the number of challenges filed by his camp.
Yeger accuses Fidler of using "Florida-style tactics," where Palm Beach Jewish seniors where in center of the controversy.

Lew Fidler narrowed the gap with David Storobin to a mere 10 votes, Colin Campbell is reporting, while the process is getting real tense and both sides are challenging ballots that were considered valid. The fate of these ballots will be decided after the uncontested ones will be counted.
The Fidler camp is now accusing the Storobin camp with targeting Jewish votes for challenges, and that they disputed a lot of democratic ballots. This comes a day after Storobin accused that Fidler is targeting Russian voters.
Mr. Storobin’s campaign is holding a rally in front of Mr. Fidler’s campaign headquarters later this afternoon to protest this “tactic of ethnic exclusion.”
The battle will very likely end up in court, where both sides will appear on Friday to determine the validity of the contested ballots. Storobin’s manager said that they believe that even if they end up behind in the Board of Ed, the court will reinstate the over 100 Russian votes.
