Revised Map Up Jeffries' Chances

The Judge overseeing the new congressional maps revised his plans, and the new maps are much more favorable for Hakeem Jeffries' bid to unseat Rep. Towns. It brings Towns' district - the future district 8 - back into south Brooklyn's Clinton Hill and Fort Greene, areas that are represented by Jeffries and are seen as his strongholds. The district ends at the edges of expanded Hasidic Williamsburg, at Myrtle Ave., and will include some Jewish voters. Check out the revised map here.
