In Yiddish, it's Getting Real Nasty Against her Own

In the last few days, I chronicled several (1, 2, 3) Nydia's nasty ads, but that's nothing comparing to the pro-Nydia posters that are out in Yiddish. In those ads, Dilan isn't the only target. They also have harsh labels against Nydia's own race, the Hispanics of the community.

A reader submitted to me an a photo of this ad that adorns the street poles, with some translations:

It says that:

“She (Velazquez) was the only hi-ranking politician that stepped up and saved the decree from this block in the Broadway Triangle where it would have been built by the city only 150 affordable apartments suited for goyim (gentiles, non-Jews) and only 15 apartments for Jews, who would have been mixed there between the 135 goyim, similar to the Berry apartments and would have filled up the block with the lowest elements (goyim).”

This ad is a factual lie: Nydia actually fought against the current Broadway Triangle plans, arguing that it favors Jews. But lying isn't new - she just did it in the debate, only to tell later that she misspoke. Calling her tribe such labels is completely new territory.

    1. A מסור (informant) is the one who files in court with Nydia's coalition against large apartments cuz it might benefit Jewish families.
