NY07: Velzquez's Uses Sticks & Carrots; Ride Day in Williamsburg
After using sticks, with pro-Velazquez posters threatening Hasidim that her fellow Hispanics will settle in Williamsburg, Velazquez is also using sweeteners. Someone sent me the card below, advertising rides for kids and a raffle on a vacation and $1000 worth of jewelry, put out by Aranite groups campaigning for Dilan. Voters have to take the cards on election to the group's tents near the polling places.
Meanwhile, I hear reports that turnout is unusually high in Hasidic Williamsburg.
Stay tuned. Will try to have early results.
