Surprise: Storobin Win Republican Line

According to Community First, David Storobin was certified  as the republican candidate.

"'Community First’ a group of active voters in the district would like to take the opportunity in congratulating State Senator David Storobin for getting certified as the Republican Senatorial candidate for the 17th Senate District after a fierce and biting battle. The decision to remove a sitting State Senator from the ballot would of been an unprecedented move. Judge Martin's ruling dismissing the outrageous allegations, speaks loud and clear - all the accusations over fraud were clearly proven false in the court and at issue were a small number of signatures that were subject to human error," the group wrote in a press release.

Storobin Spokesman Steven Stites - who told me earlier that "the Senator... doesn't feel bound by party label," - confirmed that he won the party line: "Democratic challengers backroom political move failed... Now the voters can decide between the Senator's plan to create jobs and cut taxes and his Obama Democrat opponents plan to raise taxes and spending (sic)."
Decision

Flashback: A veteran petitioner expected him to lose, and Stites have said that Storobin.

The Felder camp is promising an appeal. Also, Moshe Ticshler reportedly filed an appeal to knock of Hikind of the Conservative ballot, contrary to my earlier report that it looks like that his right to appeal was taken away.
