The Interview on BibiFeed, and What's Missing

Fellow Brooklynite blogger Jacob Kornbluh dragged in this blog into international, theological matters far of it's coverage sphere, by posting today an Exclusive Interview with me on the Satmar campaign against participating in Israel's election

"The [Satmar] Rebbe viewed the Zionist movement and subsequent state as a heretic enterprise," Orthodox Pundit, a known Orthodox Blogger from the Satmar community, told BibiFeed in an exclusive view of Satmar's Knesset Election ban. By joining the parliament and participating in elections, one recognizes and partners in such an enterprise, violating the first of the 10 commandments, according to the late Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum in the V'Yoel Moshe

Jacob didn't included a part of my statement, and I expected him to redact and take out the points he sees fit. Still, I want to complete a sentence that he quoted: Like nearly all Ultra-Orthodox Rebbes and Gdolim of the alter heim, the Rebbe viewed the Zionist movement and subsequent state as a heretic enterprise. I feel that this point is important. While the boycott of the elections isn't universal between all Ultra-Orthodox groups, the opposition to the state is.

Also, before we are called parasites etc., I told him that: It's important to add that Satmar institutions doesn't benefit from the government, either, and try to avoid the government wherever possible.
