Justice David Scmidt ordered today the Board of Election to return Joseph Hayon as a Republican candidate for the 44th council district. Hayon is running a long-long-shot versus the democratic incumbent David Greenfield. Here is an earlier report with more details on the case.
The Judge denied Hayon's request to invalidate Greenfield's petitions for the Independence line.
