Wondering why Agudah leaders signaled support for Storobin for the first time? After all Fidler's accusations are already two weeks old? I assume that they want Storobin as a care-taker and looking past him! They correctly calculate that if Fidler wins he will probably run in November in the newly created super-Jewish district, with good chances to win there. This will reduce the odds for Agudah leader, Chaskel Banett, to win that seat.
Storobin is a far better choice to be a care-taker Senator, and vacate the seat voluntarily, by running in a different district or giving it up altogether, or being pushed out by a primary.
BTW, the NY Post caught Fidler parking illegally on a public plaza near Brooklyn Borough Hall.
