A number of Jewish activists were seen today when Hakeem Jeffries announced the kick-off of his campaign against long-time Congressman Edolphus "Ed" Towns. The diverse crowd included leaders of both Satmars and Crown-Heights reps. Councilmember Stephen Levin is also seen with a Jeffries for Congress sign.
Satmar may find it self in a different district (it's in the end of the piece), in the newly drawn maps which are due any day
