Storobin may not yet be the official Republican candidate, but is already the certified conservative candidate.
Financially, he raised $70,000, and loaned himself another $50,000. It's a nice amount in such a short period, though it's still a far cry from Fidler's $330,000. He also received an endorsement of a Russian Radio executive, Anna Pekerman, after losing the most important one to Fidler.
And in addition to his blog trail, questions surfaced about a tweet poking phone of Obama's Muslim name and linage, but it seems that it wasn't Storobin's twitter account, and the whole account is now deleted.
