Storobin Promises Move to New District; Boasts State GOP Support

If David Storobin wins the State Senate race in March, he will not vacate his seat voluntarily. He promised to move into the Super-Jewish district.

Politicker is quoting him: “I’ve lived in Boro Park more than anywhere in my life, and then I lived in Midwood… I went to FDR high school, which is in Boro Park. I do know where to get the good bagels there, I do know the shuls there, I do know everything there. It’s my neighborhood.” Storobin is predicting that the final district will be different than currently proposed, due to Gov. Cuomo’s promised veto.

Fidler also promised to run for reelection somewhere in the neighborhood, but was vague in which district.

Also, Storobin, whom Fidler have outraised almost four fold, is boasting tremendous support from the GOP State Senate Committee. “We have a tremendous amount of money being put into our campaign by the Senate Republicans,” Mr. Storobin stated. “In the last ten years, all of the money that all of the other candidates got times ten is not even close to what we’re getting.”
