Bloomy Against Kugel Donations

An Orthodox Congregation Upper West Side Shul Ohab Zedek is banned from delivering its Kugel, Chulent and other leftovers to homeless shelters, due its high salt content and other health concerns. This is part of the Mayor's crusade against salt and for healthy diets, while he is continuing to enjoy his salty burned toasts.

Rabbi Allen Schwartz of Ohav Zedek told the NY Post, “Jews have been eating chulent and kugel for a long time, and somehow we’ve managed to live long and healthy lives. All we want to do is to continue sharing these bounties with our neighbors.”

A lot of Yidden and Mosdos will gladly take the left-overs. Make sure it's warm and schmaltzy...
