Flatbush Shomrim leader Chaim Deutch, a high-profile Fidler supporter who spoke at the Greenfield Storobin rally, blasted Motzei Shabbos Storobin on a paid political segment on the Zev Brenner show for defending violent criminals. Storobin also spoke in an infomercial in the beginning of the segment, seemingly responding to questions that weren't broadcasted; The Fidler segment was moderated by Kalman Yeger - a Fidler staffer - who also had Councilman Fidler and Councilman Greenfield on it.
And the NY Post – for what it is worth - wholeheartedly endorsed David Storobin.
The Storobin camp published in today's Hamodia a list of 42 Rabbis against voting for Fidler. A close ally told OP that the list - originally containing 49 Rabbis that quickly grew - shrank, because prior versions combined Rabbis who signed an all-out prohibition to support Fidler with those signing on a milder version. The current list only includes those who signed on an 'Issur'.
