Nachman Caller opened the Super Jewish advertising season, with a mostly-Yiddish ad in Hamodia, where you rarely find Yiddish. I guess he views the district as super-Yiddish. Miachel Fragin, who advised, didn't responded to my DM as to why he chose to use Yiddish in Hamodia.

Caller titles himself as Harav (Rabbi) - if he wins, he maybe the only elected official to use the title in Albany (for context: Simcha Felder is ordained, but never adopted the title... and Shmuley Boteach wants to be the Capitol Rabbi-Reverend).
In the side bar he his brandishing that he's the first candidate:
With real estate and business experience;
With enough money, and is only running to assist the community (a veiled slight toward Simcha's past pleas for support, if only to help a fellow Jew get a good-paying position, and than using a better salary as a part of the justification for abruptly resigning after winning reelection);
With no Political background;
No political connections to any big firms or Hasidic camps (hoifen - is literally translated in English as courtyards, but it is a term that was used for Hasidic camps);
With over 30 years assistance for individuals, Yeshivos and organizations;
Who will show detailed business-wise, politically, economically and practical plans how to assist in the current hard times;
Who will represent our interests, apartments, incomes, and our bread and butter.
It's noteworthy that in the last special election, Lew Fidler was the one who advertised in Yiddish publications, and also the first to take out full pages ads in the Hamodia, even before the public knew of Kruger's imminent resignation. He still fared worst in parts of the district that overlaps with Super Jewish and where the most Yiddish speakers are concentrated.
As of the last update, Fidler is also losing the district as a whole. with 10 percent recounted, Storobin is still ahead by 27 votes. Fidler is finding some hope in the fact that the overall number of votes did changed, meaning that the machine count is inaccurate.
