Nydia Mailer: She Encouraged Small Biz Owners

In an apparent response to the claims that as chairwoman of the small business sub-committee she was detrimental to small businesses, by diverting funds to larger corporations stuffing her campaign coffers, the Velazquez campaign sent out a mailer touting her small biz credentials. It shows a woman saying that when she was unemployed, Nydia strongly encouraged her to push forward with her small business and with her association. See it below:

On the endorsement front, the Amsterdam News endorsed Nydia - listing among others her vote against the Patriot Act - and Charles Barron. Here is an interesting quote for the latter:"Barron can be both arrogant and stubborn, but those qualities are what has made him the successful freedom fighter he is."

The Jewish Press, on the other hand, endorsed Dilan and Jeffries. 

In an interview with the Jewish Press, Dilan rejected the notion the the US should 'tilt' toward Israel. He said that the US should only tilt to itself, but it should support Israel because it's in her own interests. Meanwhile, someone sent me in a quote from Nydia endorsement conference, where she said that “moving forward it is clear that I will be working collectively with the people that are here to make sure that we achieve a long-lasting peace for Israel and the people of Israel. And that’s what is important.” The sender is asking  if this includes the Satmars who were present.
