In other news, a friend of the Tischlers sent me today that: "Supreme Court Justice David Schmidt today ordered that the NYC Board Of Elections review each signature of Hikind's Republican and Conservative petitions with an independent monitor this week. Good possibility that he'll be kicked off those line."
An anonymous tipster is telling me that the GOP haven't sent an attorney for Hikind, neither for Storobin, who also had a case today before same Judge. Only the conservative party sent a lawyer to represent Hikind. The same source previously pointed out that the republican law chair, Gene Berardelli only withheld signatures from these three Jewish candidates.
The same tipster also criticized Berardelli for not representing Jospeh Hayon today. Hayon, though, wrote me that his case was only related to objections against him on the independence line, so he told the GOP chair that he don't expect their representation, and there was no reason the GOP should represent him.
