A battle over who should control 4
Satmar camps in the Catskills - with one side lining up Assemblyman Vito Lopez and his camp, and the other helped by Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez - was decided in favor of the Zalanites and Lopez.
Lopez and other politicians took an extraordinary personal in the case. Celeste Katz is
reporting that Lopez, together with Councilman Steve Levin and Assemblyman Joe Lentol made a personal trip to the count executive in recent weeks to advocate for the Zalanites.

In what may be a gesture to the Aranites-Velazquez, Nydia is Cc'd on the county attorney's letter while Lopez is not. (The assertion that Nydia Velazquez was Cc'd was a silly mistake. It's a different
Nydia. Nereida (I finally have it correct...). H/T
commenter). Nydia's opponent, Erik Dilan, and his father State Martin Malave Dilan were heavily involved advocating for the Zalanites. This may have a
real effect on the younger Dilan's primary challenge to Velazquez.

ReplyDeletenext time rather be "quiet" if your not "quite" sure with your facts. (but as i noted in my previous comments I still love your analysis)
Thanks for your lesson. I'm the first one to readily admit that I can use a brush up, as here

Again you are wrong, by trying to minimize your mistake, its not a different Nydia, its a totally different name, the name is Nereida. You need a brush up not only on your English but also on your research, you are not thoroughly reviewing your materials. (unless Nydia follows you on twitter, and did not dispute your report, than its a fact even if you don't see it on the paper.)
