Caller will Attend Storobin's Oath Taking; Manager also Campaigned for Fidler

Nachman Caller, who may face off with State Senator-elect David Storobin for the Republican line for the Super Jewish district, will Attend Storobin's swearing in ceremony in Albany this week, a source close to him told me. (According to him it will take place tomorrow. I'm lazy to verify to that).

Meanwhile, the plot of a possible ulterior motive by some Caller backers is thickening: I learned that Moishe Friedman - whom Caller hired as campaign manager - not only campaigned for Councilman Greenfield, but was also involves with the Fidler campaign. Friedman may have switched sides just for the money and to raise his profile, but it's plausible that his friends - who are now behind Felder - encouraged him to do so, seeing Caller as a better opponent in November.

Retraction: contrary to what a source close to Caller told me that his campaign had nothing to do with Super Yiddish ad, I confirmed that it was actually placed by a hi-level Caller operative. I start to wonder if there are two teams who are working independently...
